Two lovey-dovey penguins I spotted amongst a huge colony. Those are Magellanic Penguins (Spheniscus magellanicus), in Ushuaia, Argentinean Patagonia.

I love this picture! The lighting is great, the quality of the picture is nice, the angle is clever, everything about this picture rocks! Not to mention penguins are very adorable. And these penguins look adorable! Also the way the camera is placed looks very nice. You can see the grass in front of the lens and you can also see a cool blur effect in the background. Adding a blur effect to the background seems to always add a professional touch! I'm just rambling on now because of the 100 word minimum... but thanks for reading my review... good day now?!

This piece is absolutely stunning, i am completely amazed how you managed to capture this moment so beautifully and in perfect focus. The grass frames them perfectly and the penguins seem to be about to hug too!? I think if they ever got to see themselves in this photograph, they would probably give you a hug too, Amalia. The colouring is so natural and in keeping with the environment of the penguins, especially how the colours in the background of the shot precisely match the colours in the grass. It holds the shot together and makes the black and white of the penguins really stand out to make it's impact very appealing. They also seem to have expressions! Positively gorgeous work.

Something about this really warms my heart- perhaps the fact that the penguin on the right has such a messy breast and is not the most beautiful of birds...yet their affection transcends that! :giggle: :heart:
